How does your morning routine compare to other Survey Junkie members? The way we wake up can dictate a lot about the way the rest of our day plays out. We asked people in a survey what their morning routine consisted of.
Here’s what we found out.
First things first, we asked how many of you were morning people. You know… the ones that wake up and greet the day with a broad smile on their face, brimming with energy and ready to tackle the next twelve or so hours.
It’s about fifty-fifty on this one. Exactly 49.52% of respondents said they were a morning person, while 52.08% are not.
We also asked how many people believed that making the bed in the morning was important. Here, again, we see an almost even split. Of all the respondents, 51.92% said they make their bed in the morning, while 48.08% don’t think that it matters.
But what about the actual morning routine?
The greatest common denominator between members was their love for coffee. 32.69 percent of respondents said that they add a caffeine boost to their morning. Another 20.19% take a shower. Other answers include getting the kids ready and sending them to school, heading off to an exercise class, or following a prayer or meditation routine.
